This post is part of the personal sales and marketing crash course project I am undertaking in December. If you’re interested in reading about the goals I set or what I accomplished at the end of the month, feel free to click around!

What I accomplished this week:

  • Edited Cre8tives newsletter
  • Designed newsletter in Mailchimp and sent out to the Cre8tives community audience
  • First-round interview with SecondKeys

SecondKeys Interview

To start this week off, I had a first-round interview with a Memphis based SaaS startup, SecondKeys. The interview was for both a sales and marketing position at the growing company. I ultimately decided that the marketing position best fit my expanding skill set and interests.

I conducted extensive research on the company and its mission. I gained insight into the founding history and the customers SecondKeys’ aims to serve. Using Notion, I organized my interview preparation notes.

Bringing the Cre8tives Newsletter to Life

This week I put the finishing touches on the Cre8tives newsletter, ran it through multiple rounds of edits, designed the email in Mailchimp, and sent it out to the Cre8tives community subscriber list.

It felt good being able to finish something that I had started at the beginning of the month.

This week involved a lot of final touches and new beginnings. I will be in charge of writing the monthly Cre8tives newsletter for the foreseeable future, so stay tuned!
